The Farm House with its lovely stoep off the kitchen overlooks the garden and is an ideal place to sit and drink your morning coffee. Two Ha of land surrounding the homestead and outbuildings are all enclosed with electric fencing and an electric gate. Within this fencing are 4 sheep camps with a carrying capacity of 30-40 sheep. The remainder 45Ha are made up of 6 cattle camps with a 30-50 livestock carrying capacity. The veld type is Sour Veld and natural grass, the soil type is Black Loam. There are cattle and sheep race handling facilities. The borehole supplies all the livestock and the homestead and the estimated capacity is +- 5-7m3 per hour. The Pig and Whistle Hotel, reputedly the oldest existing pub in the country. Built in 1831 by Thomas Hartley, a blacksmith who came from Nottinghamshire with the 1820 Settlers.
